Three drivers charged with DWI
Three people were arrested for driving drunk on Wednesday and Thursday, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Natasha Beth Reynolds, 29, of 4073 Wilson’s Mills Road near Smithfield was charged with driving while impaired and driving left of center on Thursday, according to a report. She was jailed under a $2,000 bond.

A Four Oaks man was charged Thursday morning with driving while impaired and driving with a revoked license. Jamie Kay Holt, 28, of 5249 U.S. 301 was jailed under a $1,500 bond, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

A Middlesex man was charged Wednesday with driving while impaired. Robert Harry Quinn, 32, was jailed under a $1,000 bond.

Man arrested for driving violations
A Four Oaks man was charged Wednesday with driving with a revoked license and providing fictitious information to investigators, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

Tomas Belton, 32, of 964 Peach Orchard Road was jailed under a $2,500 bond.

Copper wire stolen
On Wednesday, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office investigated several reports of thefts of copper wire in a neighborhood near Garner.

Copper wire was stolen from four addresses on Fieldtrail Circle, according to investigation reports. The wire was worth a total of $2,000, according to the reports.

Woman accused of shoplifting
Smithfield police cited a woman for shoplifting three pairs of silver earrings from the Belk department store Wednesday afternoon.

A store employee reported that the theft occurred between 3:55 and 4:05 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., police cited Jessica Nichole Martin, 21, of 203 W. Fayetteville St., in the store with one count of shoplifting.

Burglar hits home
An East Johnston Street man reported a burglary at his home Wednesday evening, according to Smithfield police. The man told police the break-in happened sometime between noon and 4:30 p.m.

He reported nothing missing from the home.
