Conley was taken to the Johnston County Jail and placed under a $500 bond, but Detective Keith Powell said more charges might follow.

Detective Dawn Strickland said police bought narcotics from Tyson in the parking lot at Carlie C’s IGA in March. Police found Tyson at a Benson business on Thursday and arrested him, she said.

Benson police have nabbed eight people as part of the undercover operation, Strickland said. Authorities are still looking for Zackary Everitt Goodwin, 20, of the Dunn area, and Seneca Donelle Jackson, 31, of 305 Harnett St.
