Two arrested for shop lifting
Two Benson women were arrested for stealing from Family Dollar Sunday, Benson police reported.

Norma Gene Hollin, 40, of 410 N. Lee St., and Amy Sills Tonetti, 40, of 319 N. Hall St., were each charged with one count of shoplifting. They were placed under $500 bonds apiece.

Family Dollar manager reported that she saw Hollin and Tonetti sitting in front of the business on East Parrish Drive. The manager suspected that the pair had stolen clothing and candy. Police found cleaning and food items from Family Dollar in Tonetti’s vehicle, according to a police report.
