A spaghetti supper is scheduled from 5 till 8 p.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1241 Old Fairground Road, Willow Spring. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and younger. Proceeds will help bring Belarussian children to the United States for medical, dental and vision care.

A live nativity is scheduled from 6 till 9 p.m. Dec. 1, 8 and 9 at Micro First Baptist Church at the corner of U.S. 301 and Wilson Street in Micro. Admission is free. The church will serve refreshments in the fellowship hall.

The gospel choir of Mount Vernon Christian Church will present its 14th annual Christmas candlelight service at 6 p.m. Saturday at the church, 300 N. Lombard St., Clayton. In addition to the gospel choir, the following will perform: the Shaw University gospel choir and mime ministry, the Mount Vernon male chorus and the Mount Vernon praise dance team.

A mission service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday at Mt. Zion Church of Deliverance at the corner of East Street and South Avenue in Smithfield. Elder Craig James of Solid Rock Ministries in Raleigh will speak.

A musical program is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday at the Western Assembly Headquarters on U.S. 701 three miles north of Newton Grove. The following will perform: The Gospel Messengers, Tru Praze, The Anointed Sisters and the Elizabethtown Community Choir.
