"Little Relay Stars," a baby-photo contest, is seeking entries.The contest is open to children from birth to age 24 months. Posters on display
Posters entered in the Johnston Soil and Water Conservation District poster contest are on display through Jan. 21 at the Public Library of Johnston County and Smithfield. The posters, by fifth- and sixth-graders in Johnston schools, are based on the theme "We All Live in a Watershed." The contest winner will be announced Jan. 25.
MOMS to hold fair
The MOMS Club of East Clayton will hold at Preschool and Activities Fair from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Church at Clayton Crossing. The first 100 families will receive goody bags, and the MOMS Club will hold drawings for prizes. Admission is free. The church is in the former Winn-Dixie space on U.S. 70 in Clayton.
