Blood drive in Benson
A blood drive is scheduled from 2 till 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the American Legion Building on U.S. 301 north of downtown Benson. All donors will be eligible to win a $1,000 gift card. Walks-in are welcomed, but to schedule an appointment, call 894-4261 or 632-0783.

"Dining for Dollars" is scheduled from 11 a.m. till 3 p.m. Wednesday at Chick-fil-A, 1300 N. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield. Ten percent of all sales will go to the United Way of Johnston County.
