The Herald's online-only column Family Matters has a new contributor. Dave Nesselrode, 33, works for Cisco Systems in the Triangle. He and his family are originally from Maryland but have lived in Clayton for the past three years. Dave and his wife Jennifer have two kids, ages 1 and 4.

Dave replaces Barbie Tew, who is not able to write for The Herald anymore.
