Jubilee Church The Rev. Johnny LaCarter will speak at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 24, at Jubilee Church on Booker Dairy Road in Smithfield. LaCarter is a former Army master sergeant, Baptist pastor and hospice chaplain. He will speak on “Getting on the Wrong Boat.”

Mitchener Memorial A Friends and Family Day service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, at Mitchener Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, 911 Blount St., Smithfield.

Mt. Zion Church

A Joy Night service is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 22, at Mt. Zion Church of Deliverance, 908 South Ave., Smithfield. Pastor Judith Light of Alpha and Omega Free Full Gospel Church will speak. A Youth Day service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday, May 24.

Ebenezer Church

A fellowship service is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 22, at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Kenly. Minister Eva Mitchell of Johnston Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church will speak, and the youth choir from her church will sing.

Green Chapel Baptist

Women’s Day services are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, May 24, at Green Chapel Baptist Church, 2861 Brogden Road, Smithfield. The Rev. Vanessa Holliday will speak in the morning, and the Green Chapel Choir will sing. Evangelist Candy Taylor will speak in the afternoon, and the Sanders Chapel Church choir will sing.

Evangelist Hattie Lofton of Smithfield will speak at 7:30 p.m. May 20-22 at St. Jude Holiness Church, 944 H.B. Lewis Road, Clinton. Lofton will speak at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 24, at Harvest Word Ministries, Lot 28, Beulah in the Pines Mobile Home Park, U.S. 301, Micro.

Revival at Mt. Zion

Revival services are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. May 20-22 at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church, 814 2nd Ave., Smithfield.

Bethesda Baptist

Bethesda Baptist Church will dedicate its new building at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 31. The church is at 4967 U.S. 70 Business West between Clayton and Smithfield.
