Brenda Byrd-Miller, 63, of Willow Spring died Friday, May 22, at WakeMed in Raleigh. Born Jan. 3, 1946, in Johnston County, she was a daughter of the late Vilas Lafayette Byrd.

The family will receive friends from 10 till11 a.m. Thursday, May 28, at Thomas Funeral Chapel, 401 N. Ennis St., Fuquay-Varina. A memorial service will follow.

Surviving are her husband, Glenn Miller; two sons, Paul Alex Garcia and Eric Garcia of Idaho; her mother, Louise Pollard of Clayton; and three sisters, Barbara Yeomans of Winterville and Sandra Corbett and Vicki Stanley, both Raleigh.

The family is receiving friends at the home of Glenn Miller, 3200 Norman Blalock Road, Willow Spring.
