Cornerstone revival

A youth revival is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. July 29-31 and 11 a.m. Aug. 2 at Cornerstone Gospel Tabernacle Ministries, 4369 U.S. 70 West, Princeton.

VBS at Ebenezer

Ebenezer Presbyterian Church will hold Vacation Bible School July 31-Aug. 2. Here’s the schedule: 6 till 8:30 p.m. July 31, registration, a pizza party, games, music and other activities; 9 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. Aug. 1, activities continue; and Aug. 2, covered-dish lunch after the 11 a.m. worship service. VBS in Clayton

Vacation Bible School is scheduled from 6:30 till 8:30 p.m. Aug. 3-7 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 304 N. Lombard St., Clayton. For more information, call 553-5519. A Women’s Day service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at the church. The Rev. Valerie Melvin will speak. She is associate regional minister for the Disciples of Christ Church.

Baker’s Chapel

Plates of barbecued chicken will be on sale from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. and from 4 till 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Baker’s Chapel Church, 1983 Baker’s Chapel Road near Smithfield. The cost is $6 per plate, with takeout available.

Live Oak Baptist

Cheryl Hancock, correspondent to Israel, will speak at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, at Live Oak Baptist Church, 1555 Live Oak Church Road, Selma. Pie and coffee will follow. For more information, call the church at 965-6468.
