White Memorial

White Memorial Presbyterian Church will launch its new Sunday School year at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13. The morning will feature songs and Bible lessons. Lunch will be at 12:15 p.m., when the church will show the Veggie Tales movie “Minnesota Cuke and the Search of Noah's Umbrella.” The church is at 1459 White Memorial Church Road, Willow Spring.

Breakfast Saturday

The Men's Group at Smithfield Advent Christian Church will serve its monthly breakfast at 8 a.m. Saturday at the church, which is at corner of Galilee Road and N.C. 210 est of Smithfield.

Music at Smyrna

Living Waters, a gospel music group, will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at Smyrna Original Free Will Baptist Church in the Meadow community. The church is on N.C. 96 about three miles south of N.C. 50. For more information, call Granville Denning at 894-2095.

Oakey Grove Baptist

A Youth Day service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at Oakey Grove Baptist Church on U.S. 70 Business west of Smithfield. The Rev. Joseph Pridgen will speak.

Piney Grove Church

The King's Messengers will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at Piney Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church on U.S. 301 near Four Oaks.
