• On Thursday, someone broke into Nicole's Closet on Son-Lan Parkway in the Cleveland community and stole a safe and cash drawer with an undisclosed amount of money.

• Jerri Nichole Carlson, 28, of 5004 Davis Creek Drive, Raleigh, was arrested Thursday and charged with possession of cocaine.

• On Aug. 26, somone stole $19,500 in model airplanes and helicopters from a home on Redbud Drive near Clayton.

• David Carlton Kelly, 43, of 306 W. Main St., Kenly, was arrested Aug. 24 and charged with speeding to elude arrest.

• Travis Christopher Williams, 21, of 2475 Ashe St., Dunn, was arrested Aug. 24 and charged with statutory rape.

• Tonya Jean Johnson, 34, of 830 Creech Church Road, Kenly, was arrested Aug. 22 and charged with possession of methamphetamines.

•Ronnie Lee "Butthead" Allen, 26, of 1828 Hockaday Road, Four Oaks, was arrested Aug. 21 and charged with breaking and entering and larceny. Allen is suspected of breaking into a Micro home on Aug. 1 and stealing a TV.

•Home break-ins were reported last week in the following locations: the 6100 block of Swift Creek Road near Smithfield, Legare Court near Clayton, the 500 block of Rains Crossroads Road near Selma, the 9000 block of Devil's Racetrack Road near Four Oaks, the 2300 block of Sanders Road near Willow Spring, the 6400 block of Stricklands Crossroads Road near Four Oaks, Evan Court near Clayton, the 1900 block of Government Road near Clayton, the 5600 block of Benson-Hardee Road near Benson, the 9300 block of Devil's Racetrack Road near Four Oaks, the 7200 block of Flower Hill Road near Middlesex, Gilbert Road near Benson, Herring Road near Princeton, Tralee Drive near Smithfield, the 2400 block of Jackson-King Road near Willow Spring and Liberty Lane near Clayton.

Selma Police

• Elvis Rene Carranza-Pena, 40, 309 N. Green St., Selma, was arrested Aug. 22 and charged with resisting arrest. According to a police report, he grabbed a wire fence and refused to be arrested.

• On Aug. 25, someone stole the air-conditioning units from three mobile homes on Hunting Drive.

• Home break-ins were reported on East Lizzie Street, East Oak Street and South Massey Street.

Smithfield Police

• James Oliver Brown, 20, of 1108 Booker Dairy Road, Smithfield, was arrested Aug. 21 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and maintaining a dwelling where drugs are sold. According to a police report, Brown had 28.6 grams of marijuana.

• Pamela Jackson Moser, 28, of 5130 Brogden Road, Smithfield, was arrested Aug. 24 and charged with possession of cocaine.

• Camilla Shenelle Lackey, 25, of 404 Dairy Road, Clayton, was arrested Thursday and charged with felony embezzlement. Lackey is charged with embezzling $207 from her employer, Wal-Mart on North Bright Leaf Boulevard.

• James Robert Andrews, 41, of 758 Wiggs Road, Pine Level, was arrested Thursday and charged with assault inflicting serious bodily injury. Andrews is charged with assaulting a Buffalo Road resident in the victim's home.

• Home break-ins were reported on East Lee Street and Berkshire Road.
