Johnston Community College has scheduled the following continuing-education classes. To register, or for more information, call Jackie Seare at 209-2595.

Work Zone Flagger Training -- 5:30-9:30 p.m. Sept. 17. This class meets the N.C. Department of Transportation's continuing-education requirements for both one- and two-person flagging operations. The cost is $80.

Ethics in Insurance -- 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, and again from 6 till 9 p.m. Nov. 10. The cost is $65.

Real Estate -- 6-10 p.m. Oct. 15-16; 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Oct. 17-18; 6-10 p.m. Oct. 22-23; and 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Oct. 24-25. Topics include agency relationships in real-estate transactions, legal duties to clients and agent compensation. The cost is $120.

Real Estate Broker Responsibilities and Relationships -- 6-10 p.m. Nov. 12-13; 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Nov. 14-15; 6-10 pm. Nov. 19-20; and 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Nov. 21-22. The cost is $120.

Real Estate Contracts and Closings -- 6-10 p.m. Dec. 3-4; 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Dec. 5-6; 6-10 p.m. Dec. 10-11; and 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Dec. 12-13. The cost is $120.

Home Inspection Exam Review -- 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 22 through Oct. 29. The cost is $120.

Residential/General Contractor's License -- 6-10 p.m. Nov. 20, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 21 and 1-5 p.m. Nov. 22. This class prepares students to sit for the residential and, or general contractor's licensing exam. The cost is $65.

Intro to Residential Construction -- 6-10 p.m. Oct. 23, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 24 and 1-5 p.m. Oct. 25. The cost is $65.

Large-Game Taxidermy -- 7-10 p.m. Tuesdays from Nov. 3 through Dec. 13. The class will meet at Howell Woods. The cost is $65.

Notary -- Classes will meet at the Workforce Development Center on Sept. 25, from 8 a.m. till 3 p.m.; Oct. 5-6, from 6 till 9 p.m.; Oct. 23, from 8 a.m. till 3 p.m.; Nov. 2-3, from 6 till 9 p.m.; and Dec. 1-2, from 6 till 9 p.m. Also, a class will meet from 6 till 9 p.m. Oct. 26-27 at the Cleveland Center. The cost is $65.
