Monthly breakfastThe Men's Group at Smithfield Advent Christian Church will serve its monthly breakfast at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. The church is at the corner of Galilee Road and N.C. 210 west of Smithfield.Movie in Pine LevelPine Level Missionary Baptist Church will show the movie "Fireproof" at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, the sanctuary at 110 S. Peedin Ave. Admission is free. Free drinks and popcorn will be available in the parking lot starting at 3 p.m. The Pine Level Fire Department will have a truck on display. "Mount Zion: 200 Years of Blessings" is a historical drama with music. The bicentennial celebration will continue with homecoming on Sunday, Sept. 27. The 10:30 a.m. worship hour will feature music, a mortgage-burning ceremony and monologues. Lunch will follow. The church's bicentennial quilt, historical photos and artifacts will be on display. The church is at 15772 N.C. 50, a quarter-mile south of N.C. 42 in the Cleveland community.
