Kathleen Boykin Roberson, 77, of Kenly died Friday, Sept. 18, at Wilson Medical Center.

Born March 18, 1932, in Johnston County, Mrs. Roberson was a daughter of the late Drewy and Willie Etta Renfrow Boykin. She was the widow of Willard Berry Roberson, who died Aug. 17. Mrs. Roberson was a retired seamstress. She was a member of New Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church.

The funeral was at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, at New Jerusalem Church. The Rev. Danny Creech officiated. Burial followed in the Boykin-Renfrow family cemetery near the home.

Surviving are her son, Danny Willard Roberson of Kenly; a daughter, Diane Creech of Kenly; a brother, David Boykin of Middlesex; a sister, Ruth Price of Wilson; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
