Small-grains meeting

Johnston County small-grain growers will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Agricultural Center, 2736 N.C. 210, Smithfield. Topics includes variety selection, regional pests, head-scab management, planting date, pre-plant fertility, tissue testing and harvest. To attend, call 919-989-5380 by Monday, Oct. 5.
