Darius William Norris, 72, of 71 John St., Dunn, did Wednesday, Sept. 30, at the E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington.

Born April 5, 1937, in Johnston County, Mr. Norris was a son of the late Arthur B. and Vivian Knox Norris. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was retired from Powell Manufacturing, where he was a supervisor.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, in Harnett Devotional Gardens. The Revs. King White and Danielle Maynor will officiate.

Surviving are his wife, B.E.J. Norris; two daughters, Regina Adams and Charla Pope, both of Dunn; a brother, Earl Norris of Dunn; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 till 2:30 p.m. Friday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home, 301 W. Main St., Benson.
