The funeral was at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton. Pastor James Tilton officiated. Burial with military honors followed in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Surviving are his wife, Debbie Beach; two sons, Daniel Walker Beach of Clayton and Jason Lee Beach of Sumter, S.C.; his parents, Louil and Jimmie Beach of Florence, S.C.; two sisters, Ellen Beach and Belinda Moser, both of Florence, S.C.; a brother, Larry Beach of Dillon, S.C.; and two grandchildren.
