Jeffery Earl Godwin, 44, of Ruffin Road, Princeton, died Friday, Oct. 9, at WakeMed.

Born Sept. 10, 1965, in Wayne County, he was a son of Betty Barber Godwin Outlaw of Princeton and the late Ernest Wade "Bo" Godwin.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, in the Pearce-Barber Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Pollock officiated.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a son, Tony Ray Godwin of Princeton; two daughters, Tiffany and Cassie, both of Fuquay-Varina; two brothers, Jessie Godwin and Ricky Godwin, both of Kenly; two sisters, Patricia Helms of Selma and Jennifer Godwin of Point of Rocks, Md.; and one grandchild.
