The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at McLaurin Funeral Home,12830 U.S. 70 Business, Clayton. The Revs. Darrell Sauls and James Turner will officiate. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Denise G. Givens; a son, Johnathan Blaine Givens of Kenly; a daughter, Emily Denise Givens of Kenly; his parents, Johnny and Sandra Givens of Clayton; two brothers, Todd Givens and Joel Givens, both of Clayton; and a grandson.

The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at the funeral home and other times at the home of Johnny and Sandra Givens, 108 E. Hamby St.,Clayton.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Kameron Wheeler Education Fund, in care of KS Bank, 11591 U.S. 70 Business, Clayton, N.C. 27520.
