Eathel Renfrow Rollins, 97, of Smithfield died Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Smithfield Manor.

Born Dec. 3, 1911, in Wilson County, Mrs. Renfrow was a daughter of the late Bryant R. and Addie Keen Hinnant. She was the widow of Clifton Renfrow, who died in July 1975, and Noah Rollins, who died in September 1981. Mrs. Rollins was the oldest charter member of Spring Hill Presbyterian Church near Lucama.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Parrish Funeral Home, 1351 S. Pollock St., Selma. Dr. Sefton B. Strickland will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Billie Jean Simpson of Smithfield and Joyce R. Rice of Asheville; two sisters, Alma Watson of Kenly and Dorothy Renfrow of Wilson; nine grandchildren;13 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 till 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and other times at the homes of Billie Jean Simpson, 2-A N. Sussex Drive, Smithfield, and Alma Watson, 8066 Springfield School Road, Kenly.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Building Fund at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church, 7335 Springfield School Road, Lucama, N.C. 27851.
