Drama at Piney Grove

Piney Grove Baptist Church will stage its third annual "LifeHouse" drama Oct. 29-31 and Nov. 5-7. This year's drama picks up with the lives of the Walsh family. Just as their lives are returning to normalcy, their faith is once again tested. The walk-through drama will feature seven scenes. The program lasts about 45 minutes. A fall bazaar is scheduled from 8 a.m. till 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Horne Memorial United Methodist Church, 121 E. 2nd St., Clayton. More than 25 vendors will offer their wares, including crafts. For children, the bazaar will offer face painting, games and an antique fire truck. On Friday, Nov. 6, plates of barbecued pork will be on sale from 11 a.m. till 7 p.m. at the church. The cost is $7 per plates and includes barbecue, potatoes, slaw, roll and dessert. Tea, lemonade and coffee will be available for those dining in.
