Marie Creech Hinson, age 86 died Thursday evening in her home. Born November 25, 1922 in Johnston County to the late Ira L. and Emma Massey Creech, she was the widow of Jerome Hinson who died in 1989 and was preceded in death by a brother Thurman Creech. Marie was a member of the Micro Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with the Rev. Al Warrick officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Surviving are her sons, Jerry Wayne Williams and Ira Kenneth Williams; sisters, Agnes Faucette of Selma and Emaline Burgess of Micro and several grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the New Century Fund, P. O. Box 247, Micro, NC 27555.
