Roland Johnson, age 66, of Bailey-Boykin Road, died Friday, November 20, 2009. Born in Wilson County on April 14, 1943, he was the son of Cyrus Ruffin Johnson of Selma and the late Blanche Davis Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Johnson. Roland operated the Shuttle Bus at Talecris since 2001.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in Selma Memorial Gardens in Selma.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife, Sheila Crumpler Johnson; daughter, Allison Parrish and husband Joe of Wilson's Mills; sister, Cathy Johnson of Selma; and two grandchildren, Dylan and Kaitlyn Parrish.

The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma Sunday from 3 to 5 PM.
