Smithfield Police

Shirle Tennille Adams, 33, of Goldsboro, was arrested Jan. 25 and charged with felony embezzlement. She is suspected of stealing $1,765.63 from Hardee's on North Bright Leaf Boulevard.

Erica Monique Williams, 20, of 105 Rosie Drive, Smithfield, was arrested Jan. 22 and charged with carrying a concealed weapon and identity theft.

Conrad Jerome Avent, 37, of 374 Thorne Road, Unit B, Selma, was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering. He is suspected in a break-in on Third Avenue.

Home break-ins were reported in the 300 block of North Third Street, Plaza Place, East Crestview Drive and the 300 block of Wilson's Mills Road.

Sheriff's Department

Robert Daniel Elliott, 19, of 150 Felicia Court, Clayton, was arrested Thursday and charged with possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon. Raynard Lagrant Harrington, 18, of 782 Two Claude Road, Willow Spring, was also arrested and charged with possession of a stolen firearm.

Justin Lee Hix, 16, of 12935 Raleigh Road, Benson, was arrested Jan. 27 and charged with larceny after breaking and entering.

Kelvin Lamont Sanders, 39, of 1208 Springview Trail, Unit A, Garner, was arrested Jan. 26 and charged with possession of cocaine.

Terrance Garfield Badger, 35, of 527 Slate Top Road, Clayton, was arrested Jan. 26 and charged with possession with intent to sell cocaine.

On Jan. 25, someone broke a window at 5110 Market and Café on N.C. 96 near Selma and stole $150 in cigarettes.

Someone stole a 2003 Ford Sport truck from the 900 block of East Sanders Street near Four Oaks. The truck was valued at $7,000.

Nicholas Ross Lockamon, 23, of 2745 E. Garner Road, Raleigh, was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with possession with intent to sell marijuana.

Heather Saube Blount, 38, of 875 Bluegrass Road, Selma, was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with possession of cocaine.

Home break-ins were reported last week in the following locations: Brandon Lane near Four Oaks, Bess Drive near Clayton, Fuchsia Place in the Cleveland community, the 3600 block of Barber Mill Road near Clayton, Bradley Drive near Benson and Memory Lane near Benson.

Selma Police

Edward Eugene Poole Jr., 56, of 507 Corbett Ave., Selma, was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with possession with intent to sell cocaine, selling or delivering schedule II drugs, possession of drugs in a prison and being a habitual felon. The arrest stems from charges filed in Carteret County.

Patrick Ryan Penny, 26, and Michael Antoine Chestnut, 37, both of 3118 N.C. 96 North, Selma, were arrested Jan. 23 and charged with possession of cocaine.

Gregory Arnelious Williams, 40, of 102 Skyland Drive, Smithfield, was arrested Jan. 24 and charged with identity theft. According to a police report, he gave officers a fake name in an attempt to avoid arrest.

Gregory Gordon Taylor, 49, of 103 W. Preston St., Selma, was arrested Jan. 24 and charged with possession of cocaine and fleeing in a motor vehicle to elude arrest.

Break-ins were reported in the 300 block of East Anderson Street, the 300 block of Driftwood Court and the 300 block of West Richardson Street.
