A pumpkin-painting festival is scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the home of Mr. and Mrs George Lee, 2241 Shotwell Road, Clayton.
"Rise of the American Gig Poster," a display of posters promoting music gigs, is the newest exhibit at the Frank Creech Art Gallery at Johnston Community College, 245 College Road, Smithfield.
