Prime rib supper

"Damascus Troupe," a Christmas drama, is scheduled for 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, at First Missionary Baptist Church, 304 N. Lombard St., Clayton.

Revival services at Mt. Calvary

Year-end revival services are scheduled for 7 p.m. 26-30 and 9 p.m. Dec. 31 at Mt. Calvary Holines Church of Deliverance, 114 Lakeview Drive, Four Oaks. Bishop E.L. Covington will speak.

Small Chapel

A Christmas Day service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, at Small Chapel Church near Newton Grove. Sunday school will start at 9:45 a.m. The church will hold a New Year's Eve service at 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31. Bishop Fred Clarida of Smith Chapel Church near Four Oaks will speak.

Grilled hams for Christmas

Pine Level First United Methodist Church is selling grilled hams for Christmas. They're $40 and will be available for pickup between 4 and 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, behind the Town Market in Pine Level. To place an order, call the Town Market at 965-5271. On Dec. 23, a bake sale will get under way at 8 a.m. at the Town Market.

Longest Night

A service called the "Longest Night" is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 15772 N.C. 50 North in the Cleveland community. The church recognizes that Christmas can be a painful time for some. It might be the first Christmas without a loved one; it might be a time that has always been difficult. We need the space and time to acknowledge our sadness and concern; we need to know that we are not alone. Light refreshments and fellowship will follow the service. Benefit concert

A benefit Christmas concert is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at Beulah Hill Christian Church, 1701 Keen Road, Four Oaks. Southland Harmony will perform. Proceeds will go to Johnston County Special Olympics.

"The Bridging"

"The Bridging," a program for women, is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at Edgerton Memorial United Methodist Church, 401 W. Anderson St., Selma.
