A program titled "Black Women of Wisdom" is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at Union Hill AME Church, 51 Harrison Road, Wilson's Mills. A missionary service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, at New Hill Baptist Church, 2591 Fire Department Road, Clayton. The Rev. Larry Richardson of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Kenly will speak.

Red and White Banquet fundraiser

A red and white banquet is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Avery Grove AME Zion Church on Freedom Road, Smithfield. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for ages 8-12.

Salvation Deliverance Temple

Salvation Deliverance Temple in Smithfield is celebrating its 22nd anniversary. Pastor Hellina Hill of Divine Purpose Ministry International in Fayetteville will speak at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the church, 420 E. Market St., Smithfield. Elder Jerold Solomon of Spring Hope will speak 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12.

Bentonville Disciples of Christ

A Black History Month program is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Bentonville Disciples of Christ Church, 8566 Devil's Racetrack Road, Four Oaks. Minister Polly Lambert of First Missionary Baptist Church in Clayton will speak. The program will also feature a meal and a living wax museum.

Bible class

Women on the Move for PEACE will offer a biblical life-skills class at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at New Generation Christian Church, 4423 Wilson's Mills Road, Wilson's Mills. Dr. Carolyn Penny will teach the class.

Wildlife supper, auction
