Benefit comedy

Free shag lessons

Country music in Selma
The next Country Tonight Music Show is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. Friday, July 4, at the Ice House Theatre in Selma. Ballroom dancing
All About Ballroom dance studio will present its Sizzling Summer Showcase at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at The Clayton Center, 111 E. 2nd St., Clayton. Photography on display
Wet-plate collodion photography by Chris Morgan of Pine Level is on display at the Horace Williams House, 610 E. Rosemary St., Chapel Hill. The exhibition, “Through the Ground Glass,” is Morgan’s first solo exhibit. Wet-plate collodion photography was popular during the 1850s through the 1870s. Morgan uses original lenses, chemical formulas and reproduction cameras to capture the modern world with historical equipment. A reception for Morgan is scheduled from 2 till 4 p.m. Sunday, July 6, at the Horace Williams House.
