Perry Harris defeated Tony Gupton to fill the seat of Daniel Evans, who ran unopposed for mayor, in a hotly contested race in South Smithfield's District 2 that drew almost 500 voters. Williams in a race with lower turnout.

Other races in Smithfield were uncontested. Daniel Evans won the mayor's seat, Zach Crocker will represent West Smithfield District 4 and incumbent Charles Williams will serve another term in District 1.
