Elite Chiropractic Center of Clayton, the Walthom Group and the Southern Village Shopping Center have teamed up again this year to bring holiday cheer to local soldiers.

“Operation Holiday” will support local soldiers serving overseas. Last year, the campaign collected more than 1,400 pounds of essential supplies and luxury items. Letters of appreciation were included in the care packages.

Along with the military program, Operation Holiday will be sponsoring a family in need through the Me Fine Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports children with terminal and serious illnesses.

Participants are asked to bring a gift to drop off locations at Elite Chiropractic Center and Southern Village Shopping Center. Monetary donations are welcome.

Donations should be dropped off by noon Dec. 15. However, gifts will be accepted for the troops until noon Dec. 24.
