The Johnston County Board of Education on Tuesday named new principals
for six schools:North Johnston High School -- Edward Holmes, transferring from Middle
College High School, where he was principal.Middle College High School -- Ray Stott, transferring from North
Johnston Middle School, where he was principal.North Johnston Middle -- Jarvis Ellis, currently an assistant principal
at North Johnston High.Benson Elementary -- Betty Bennett, transferring from Corinth-Holders
Elementary, where she was principal.Corinth-Holders Elementary -- Amy Renfrow, currently an assistant
principal at Glendale-Kenly Elementary.Smithfield Middle -- Tracey Peedin Jones, currently an assistant
principal at Cleveland Middle.
