The Johnston County Board of Education on Tuesday named new principals for six schools:

North Johnston High School -- Edward Holmes, transferring from Middle College High School, where he was principal.

Middle College High School -- Ray Stott, transferring from North Johnston Middle School, where he was principal.

North Johnston Middle -- Jarvis Ellis, currently an assistant principal at North Johnston High.

Benson Elementary -- Betty Bennett, transferring from Corinth-Holders Elementary, where she was principal.

Corinth-Holders Elementary -- Amy Renfrow, currently an assistant principal at Glendale-Kenly Elementary.

Smithfield Middle -- Tracey Peedin Jones, currently an assistant principal at Cleveland Middle.
