Gladys Rachel Allen Baker, 84, of Hockaday Road, Four Oaks, died Tuesday, May 26, at her home.

Born Jan. 23, 1925, in Sampson County, Mrs. Baker was the daughter of the late Daniel and Livie Allen. She was a charter member of Four Oaks Church of God.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, at Four Oaks Church of God. The Revs. Kevin Edwards and Roger Capps will officiate. Burial will follow in Four Oaks Cemetery.

Surviving are her sons, Ray Baker and Danny Baker, both of Four Oaks; a daughter, LaRue Hall of Four Oaks; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 till 9 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at Four Oaks Church of God.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Four Oaks Church of God Building Fund or to Community Home Care & Hospice of Clayton.
