Tracy Lynne Peele, 22, of South Second Street in Smithfield died Tuesday, June 30.

Born Dec. 21, 1986, in Wilson County, Miss Peele was the daughter of Angelia Barnes of Smithfield and Thomas Allen Peele of Kenly. A 2005 graduate of Smithfield-Selma High School, she was attending Johnston Community College. Miss Peele had worked at Rite-Aid and RBC Bank in Smithfield.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday, July 3, at Parrish Funeral Home, 1351 S. Pollock St., Selma. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Smithfield.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her grandmothers, Peggy Barnes of Lucama and Doris Peele of Kenly.

The family will receive friends from 7 till 9 p.m. Thursday, July 2, at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the UNCCF Patient Assistance Fund, in care of Jennifer Hendrix, CCM Department, Third Floor, Neuroscience, 101 Manning Drive, Chapel Hill, N.C. 27514.
