Jennifer Marie Capps Hayes, 27, of Richlands died Friday, Oct. 2, at her home. Born Sept. 6, 1982, in Johnston County, she was the daughter of Cathy Culbreth Wallace of Hampstead and J.T. Capps of Four Oaks.
A graveside service was held Monday, Oct. 5, in the cemetery at Baker's Chapel Church. The Revs. Joe Baker and Dennis Pollock officiated.
Surviving in additions to her mother and father are her husband, Heath Hayes; a son, Damion Heath Hayes of the home; four daughters, Brianna Marie Capps, Mary Elizabeth Capps, Haley Morgan Shellhammer and Autumn Brooke Hayes, all of the home; a brother, Johnny Wilson Capps of Hampstead; a sister, Cindy Allen of Smithfield; two half-brothers, Eric Sanderson of California and Lindy Sanderson of Marion; two half-sisters, Lisa Fiethner of Spokane, Wash., and Stevie Wallace of Hampstead; four stepbrothers, Johnathan Michael Ward and C.J. Allen, both of Four Oaks, Michael Richards of Zebulon and Glenn Allen of Benson; and three stepsisters, Becky Ward of Smithfield, Teresa Ward of Kenly and Lisa Smith of Four Oaks.
