Ishmael Worth Narron, 82, of Woodard's Dairy Road, Middlesex, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield.

Born Jan. 18, 1927, in Johnston County, Mr. Narron was the son of the late Dewey and Hettie Davis Narron. He was the widower of Mildred Hill Narron.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at Antioch Baptist Church. Dr. Gattis Perry officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Narron and Worth Narron; a daughter, Angie Wiggins; two sisters, Adele Curtis and Ellen Dent; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
