Billy Wayne Willoughby, 51, of Princeton-Kenly Road, Kenly, died Monday, Oct. 19, at his home. Known as “Pappy,” he was an avid cook and griller.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home, 103 E. 2nd St., Kenly. The Rev. Dennis Pollock will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery at Fellowship United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Paulette Willoughby; two daughters, Wendy Heath of Princeton and Crystal Baker of Wilson; a son, Warren Heath of Fuquay-Varina; his mother, Ella Campbell Willoughby of Kenly; three sisters, Margie Taylor and Rose Willoughby, both of Kenly, and Shirley Hargis of Smithfield; three brothers, Earl Willoughby, Roy Glenn Willoughby and A.G. Willoughby, all of Kenly; and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 till 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home, 103 E. 2nd St., Kenly.
