Edna Earl Baker Aycock, 73, of Selma died Wednesday, May 28, at her home. Born July 19, 1934, in Johnston County, she was a daughter of the late Elijah Malton and Iola Woodard Baker.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31 in the Aycock family cemetery. Elder Harold Pittman will officiate.

Surviving are her husband, William Thomas Aycock; a son, Ricky Aycock of Selma; a daughter, Teresia Hill of Blounts Creek; a brother, Glenn Baker of Smithfield; sisters, Laura Lee Pittman of Clayton, Pauline Eason of Goldsboro, Marie Bunn of Anderson, S.C., and Jean Potter of Reidsville; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 7 till 9 p.m. Friday, May 30, at the funeral home.
