The funeral will be at noon Thursday, Aug. 14, at Mt. Vernon Christian Church, 300 N. Lombard St., Clayton. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters, Calandra Williams and Karen Williams, both of Garner; three sons, Ronald Williams of Apex and Tracey Williams and Norvell Williams Jr., both of Garner; her mother, Cora Bell Ray of Smithfield; three sisters, Mary Hinton of Selma, Barbara Patterson of Clayton and Jessica Williams of Raleigh; two brothers, Martin Williams of Hickory and Eric Williams of Smithfield; and nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. till noon Thursday at the funeral home.
