Randy Lee Artis of 2929 Englefield Drive, Raleigh, died Monday, Aug. 11.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at First Missionary Baptist Church, 403 Caswell St., Smithfield. Inurnment will follow in the Artis family cemetery in Four Oaks.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Artis; a daughter, Aiysha Kyomi Artis of Raleigh; three sons, James Christopher Artis of Raleigh, Bryan Keith Artis of Virginia and Randy De-Vonne Artis of Bunnlevel; a sister, Judith Nixon of Four Oaks; three brothers, Edgar Artis Jr. of Garner, Willie Milton Artis of Charlotte and Anthony Van Artis of Selma; and 10 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 till 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at Lea Funeral Home, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh.
