He was a son of the late Hubert Anderson and Edith Norris Hall.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at West & Dunn Funeral Home in Newton Grove. The Rev. Donald Massey officiated. Burial followed in the Hall family cemetery in Newton Grove.

Surviving are his wife, Charlene Hall; a son, Richard Hall of Florida; a sister, Joyce Rivera of Dunn; and five brothers, George Hall of Erwin, Riley Hall and Johnny Hall, both of Selma, Ralph Hall of the Meadow community, and Jimmie Hall of Newton Grove.
