Born June 9, 1924, in Johnston County, Mrs. Lee was a daughter of the late William and Viola Lee Barber. She was the widow of Robert D. “Bob” Lee. Mrs. Lee was a homemaker and a member of Gospel Tabernacle Church for more than 50 years.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home, 301 W. Main St., Benson. The Revs. King White and Ken Milliken will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.

Surviving are her daughters, Judy Reising of Williamsburg, Va., and Neta Gholizadeh of Raleigh; four sons, Donald Lee of Dunn, Denny Lee of Erwin, Benny Lee of Sanford and Johnny Lee of Buies Creek; two sisters, Alvie Connova of Durham and Shirley Marshburn of Creedmoor; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at the funeral home and other times at the home of Denny and Ann Lee, 10 Blackberry Road, Erwin.
