America Louise Langford Wilkins, 90, of 5850 Benson-Hardee Road, Benson, died Sunday, Sept. 28, at her home.

Born May 17, 1918, in Halifax County, Va., Mrs. Wilkins was the daughter of the late Frank and Tiny Etta Wilson Langford. She was the widow of James Rufus Wilkins. Mrs. Wilkins was retired from Terry Hill. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1241 Old Fairground Road, Willow Spring. The Revs. Steve Morris and Rudy Halstead will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving are her daughter, Brenda Hardee of Benson; a son, Jimmy Wilkins of Benson; a brother, Beverly Langford of Durham; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
