Sudie Blanche Britt, 90, of Newton Grove died Sunday, Oct. 5. She was the widow of William Rufus Britt.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at St. John Pentecostal Holiness Church in the Bentonville community. The Revs. Jim Skinner and Richard Parson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bradshaw-Britt family cemetery near Newton Grove.
Surviving are her son, Mack Britt of Newton Grove; a daughter, Robin O’Brien of Hessmer, La.; three stepchildren, Marvin Britt of Benson, William Britt of Goldsboro and Allison Jernigan of Newton Grove; two sisters, Susan Marshburn and Gertrude Britt, both of Roseboro; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 till 9 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 8) at West & Dunn Funeral Home, 503 Raleigh St., Newton Grove.
