Peggy Jean Radford, 66, of Pine Level died Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield. Born June 11, 1942, in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Byron and Eva Davis Radford.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, in the Radford-Herring family cemetery at the corner of Radford and Nahunta roads near Pikeville. The family will receive friends in the cemetery after the service.

Surviving are numerous cousins.
