Judy Annette Turner Hill, 63, of Goldsboro died Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem after a battle with cancer.
Born Sept. 2, 1945, in Johnston County, Mrs. Hill was a daughter of the late William Turner and Ila Pierce Turner. She was the former owner and operator of Little Tyke’s Daycare in Rosewood.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at Seymour Funeral Home, 1300 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro. The Rev. Andy Stovall will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Harold Lee Hill; her children, Tammie Brown and Jeff Hill, both of Goldsboro, and Sheila Adams and Angie Lynn, both of Smithfield; her brother, Jerry Turner of Goldsboro; one half-brother; one half-sister; and 10 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at the funeral home and other times at the home, 540 Parkwood Lane, Goldsboro.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C. 27834; or to the Bowman Gray School of Medicine for Cancer Research, in care of Hematology and Oncology, Medical Center Boulevard, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27157.
