Born March 31, 1957, in Wake County, Mrs. Hardee was a daughter of Murdock Garner of Angier and the late Mary Johnson Garner. She was a homemaker and a member of Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church near Angier. The Rev. Timmy Blair will officiate. Burial will follow in the Johnson family cemetery, which is next to the church.

Surviving in addition to her father are her husband, Bryan Hardee; a daughter, Stephanie Hardee of Benson; a son, Aaron Hardee of Benson; a brother, Terry Garner of Sanford; two sisters, Wendy Matthews of Lillington and Sandy Atkins of Angier; and one granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home, 301 W. Main St., Benson; and other times at the home of Murdock Garner, 4398 Piney Grove Church Road, Angier.
