Hubert Avery Register, 84, of Benson died Sunday, Oct. 26.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at West & Dunn Funeral Home, 208 W. Main St., Benson. The Revs. Hubert Morgan and Wade Thompson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tew Family Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mae Ruth Register; two daughters, Mary Chance of Dunn and Lynn Stokes of Fuquay-Varina; three stepdaughters, Kay Parker of Four Oaks, Marsha Bryant of Fayetteville and Donna Lee of Benson; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 till 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
