Lloyd Jasper Smith, 82, of 1327 Old Cornwallis Road, Princeton, died Sunday, Oct. 26. Born Aug. 24, 1926, he was the son of the late Theodore Jasper and Carrie Reeves Smith.

The funeral will be at 7 p.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 28) at Casey Funeral Home, 105 E. 1st St., Princeton. The Rev. Rod Trusty and Bill Braswell will officiate. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, in Princeton Cemetery.

Surviving are wife, Grace Chase Smith; three sons, Lloyd Smith Jr. of Saratoga and Kenneth Smith and Randy Smith, both of Princeton; two brothers, Robert Smith and Larry Smith, both of Wilson County; three sisters, Edith Peacock of Wake County and Sadie Hill and Faye Moore, both of Wilson County; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 till 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and again after the service.
