Sandra Joan Narron, 61, of Jacksonville, Fla., died Tuesday, Dec. 23, at the Hadlow Center of Northeast Florida Community Hospice.

Born July 22, 1947, in Selma, Ms. Narron was a daughter of Lillian Narron and the late Johnnie Narron. She lived in North Carolina until 1999, when she moved to Florida to await a lung transplant. Ms. Narron received the transplant in August of 2001.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her children, Denise Smith Levee and Jimmy Todd Smith; a brother, Curtis Narron; a sister, Mary Lynn Childers; and two grandchildren.
